Instant Ensembles

What's an "Instant Ensemble"?

Sheet music for any combination of instruments or levels of skill.

Don't believe it's possible? It wasn't until now, but thanks to the power of the Internet and to a group of arrangers who understand the need, these arrangments are completely adaptable.

  • Whether you are looking for a solo or duet with piano accompaniment, a trio, quartet or full ensemble, just choose the parts you want.
  • Whether you play the flute, violin or any other string, wind or brass instrument, any part you choose can be transposed to fit your needs.
  • Whether you've been playing for years or just months, there is a part for you. Don't worry.

It's easier than you think. We'll show you how to choose just the right parts for your players and teach you all about transpositions.

A growing prospect

More Instant Ensembles are being added by an increasing number of arrangers. Watch for new lines of arrangements such as classical themes, folk tunes, and new compositions. And feel free to submit an arrangement of your own! Once you've read over the "how-to" pages about the parts and transpositions, check out the list of available available Instant Ensemble scores.

For you to see, hear, and print Instant Ensembles you will need to download a program called "Scorch". It is free and safe and unique to the web in that you are able to see and hear the entire score before buying it. The first time you view one of our scores you'll be taken through the download process. If you have any trouble with this process, there are links to help at the bottom of the page. Hint: After downloading Scorch, refresh the page in order to see and hear the full score.
